Eliza (Leeza) Park, MD

Dr. Eliza “Leeza” Park is a psychiatrist and clinical researcher who aims to improve the care and outcomes for parents with cancer and their families. While Dr. Park was completing her clinical training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, she became keenly aware of the unmet needs of patients and families facing serious illness. Wanting to find ways to help these families, Dr. Park decided to focus her career on the care of patients with cancer.  She leads several observational and intervention studies for parents with cancer and their families. In addition to her research, Dr. Park maintains a clinical practice at the North Carolina Cancer Hospital and serves as the Deputy Director of Clinical Operations for the UNC Lineberger’s Comprehensive Cancer Support Program.
